It is post World War I and pre Great Depression Its end was the great depression

12 Dust bowl( ) A period of severe dust storms that caused agricultural damage. It was caused by severe draught.

13 McCarthyism McCarthyism was the irrational fear of communism which many capitalist countries in the world experienced. The term is coined after U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy from Wisconsin It is particularly associated with the united states during the “Red Scare” era

14 Propaganda Propaganda was a tool used by the government to scare its citizens into fearing Communism. It was also used during WWII to support anti-Nazism.

Born June 22nd “July 22nd 1934 Supposedly gunned down however there was some minor dispute about that. Escaped Crownpoint maximum security jail. The us department of justice offered $20,000 reward for his capture and 5,000 for information.

Bootlegged during the prohibition era of 1920s and 1930s Was actually once a shoe shiner

24 “Baby face” Nelson (December 6th 1908-November 27th, 1934)
Famous bank robber.

25 Bonnie and Clyde Outlaw criminals, who were believed to have killed at least 9 police officers On May 23rd 1934 they were ambushed and killed by 4 Texas police officers and 2 Louisiana officers.

26 Ma Barker (October 8th , (1872- January 16th 1935)
A legendary American criminal from the “public enemy” era. Famous for exploit of gang criminals in the Midwest.

President Herbert C. Hoover - Hooverville was named after President John Maynard Keynes - British economist, who had theories that brought the United States out of the depression. Oscar Micheaux - An outstanding black director, who proved that a black star system could exist. Jack Simmons Jr. - Found oil packets on his land, and figured out what oil rights were worth and made a fortune. Madame C. J. Walker -First American woman, black or white, to earn a million dollars.
