3. Equivalent Ratios Ratios are considered equivalent if they represent the same quantities. For example, 2 treats: 1 dog = 4 treats: 2 dogs You multiplied the numbers in the first ratio by 2. If you perform an operation on one number, you have to do the same to the other number and vice versa.
