Matthias Kaun | The Berlin State Library | East Asia Department East Asia Collection collection building policy covers all areas of interest all countries of this region are included: PR China (with Manchuria, Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Hong Kong and Macao), Taiwan, Mongolia, Japan, and North and South Korea humanities and social sciences rare ancient material from China and Japan such as manuscripts and woodblock prints Access through own Unicode-databases and special inter- library loan service Databases for German registered users in conjunction with the policy of German Research Foundation
