7 Matthias Kaun | The Berlin State Library | East Asia Department East Asia Collection  collection building policy covers all areas of interest  all countries of this region are included: PR China (with Manchuria, Inner Mongolia, Tibet, Hong Kong and Macao), Taiwan, Mongolia, Japan, and North and South Korea  humanities and social sciences  rare ancient material from China and Japan such as manuscripts and woodblock prints  Access through own Unicode-databases and special inter- library loan service  Databases for German registered users in conjunction with the policy of German Research Foundation
