INTRODUCTION Studying is not just reading the notes and getting good marks. It is about acquiring knowledge and understanding what we study. It is a process that begins in the classroom.

WHILE IN CLASS … - Stay focus on the teacher while he/she is explaining. - Take down all your notes. - Ask questions wherever you have not understood. Do not be shy or feel ashamed! AFTER THE CLASS … - Attempt all assignments. Get help if necessary. - Revise your notes preferably on the same day.

REVISING YOUR NOTES ORGANISATION - Get a suitable, quiet, well-lit place to study. -Choose a favorable time when noise and distractions are minimal.If you choose to get up during the night, avoid eating oily food before going to bed! TIME MANAGEMENT Analyse the task and the time available. Break down the task into little bits to be covered within specific time frames. Allow short breaks between tasks to minimise stress and avoid overload (you can eat, discuss,play music, walk...)
