Least Restrictive Environment Team It is the responsibility of every school to: Continuously monitor testing, recommendations and programs to ensure that students identified as having a disability receive services in the Least Restrictive Environment and to continuously monitor student progress as a means to move Students LRE as soon as it’s appropriate.

School Assessment Team Formerly known as the School Based Support Team, the SAT: Consists of a Psychologist, Social Worker and Family Worker at its core Is joined by teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators on an ad hoc basis Evaluates and surfaces a student’s strengths and deficits and makes recommendations for meeting the student’s individual needs
