Bible Story Luke 19:1-10 A long, long time ago, back when Jesus walked the earth, a tough job to have was being tax collector. Though tax collectors typically had a lot of money, they were generally not well liked by members of their community. This was because they cheated people out of their money. For example, if you had to pay ten dollars in taxes, the tax collector could very easily say, “You owe me twenty dollars” and pocket the extra money.
