11. 11 Structural and technological changes have been made in TRT since 2007. Also major technological investments have been made and new national and international radio and TV channels were launched. Many new thematic TV channels were opened such as TRT Haber (news), TRT Çocuk (kids), TRT Müzik (music), TRT Belgesel (documentary), TRT Spor (sports). 15. 15 Especially program and technical production process have been restructured for each TV channel. Instead of central management, each TV channel is designed as an independent coordinatorship. Also, program and technical produc- tion units were formed. Each channel coordinatorship has a core program and technical production staff.
