7. Ethnic Cooking Ethnic cooking consists of teaching the kids different foods from different cultures. We begin by giving a small background such as, origins of the food, benefits and what the food uses are.

14. Purpose of the Boys and Girls Club Overall what I have learned working at the Boys & Girls club is that this is an environment where young people are given the opportunity to meet new friends. To get involved in enriching programs, where they can display their talents and develop new ones. It is a safe environment that provides these kids with opportunities that they normally might not have access to.
