General Information The Mexicans Speak Spanish. The Population in Mexico is 120.8 Million. The highest it will get near Christmas is 69 degrees F. and the lowest it will get is 44 degrees F.

Celebrations and Traditions Two of Mexico’s traditions are Posadas and Pastorelas and they are on January 6 th. These celebrations may include big parades with festive piñatas plus crazy costumes in dances and plays and yucca cactus to decorate.

Important Characters Jesus and Santa Clause are two very important people near Christmas in Mexico. In Mexico the mexicans call Jesus Jesus and they call Santa Clause Santa Clause. Jesus is very important in Mexico because he watches over them and protects them every minute of every day. Santa gives gifts to the good girls and boys and coal to all the bad girls and boys

Gifts In Mexico they give food,tequila,talavera pottery,and flowers. For their gift giving traditions they play gift exchange games and diy gifts. Santa brings gifts on Christmas but the parents and children go shop for gifts for the gift exchanges. The parents also do the gift exchanges and have to buy gifts and get wonderful gifts.

Decorations Some of their favorite decorations they like to put up are wrapped yarn animals, ojo de dios, star piñatas, and Jesus in the manger displays.

Food Some of the food they enjoy during Christmas time are pozole, red snapper veracruz style,
