5 Discussion Thoughts - Points Interoperability – Internetworking What are the means to ensure interoperability? What is the emerging common vision (assuming there is one)? Can we envisage (in the future) different satellite payload operated/owned by different entities (commercial and/or public) supporting transparent to the user global coverage? Are the new generic SARPs sufficient? Do we need something else? Minimum boxes? Who pays for the development of a standard?
