A Little About Ms. Trimble Moved to Hazlet NJ in 1977. Graduated Raritan High School - Salutatorian Alumni of the University of Virginia Lived in Bermuda. Good with hurricane preparation! On a competitive archery team Two sons – Jack (23), Robert (19) and 2 cats.

A Little About Mrs. Bendixsen – co teacher period 10 Grew up in Rochester, NY; Currently live in Hazlet Graduated from College of White Plains in 1973 with a BS in Elementary Education. Started working here at Hazlet Middle School (Beers Street Middle School) in September 1992. (This is my 24 th year.) Married for 42 years; with a daughter and son (ages 36 and 33) Interesting Fact: I was the Educational Consultant for a science project (Passport to Knowledge) for five years that worked with NASA, NOAA and the Smithsonian.

GRADING Math Tests = 40% Quizzes = 30% Classwork = 10% HW = 20% Science -Tests = 40% -Quizzes = 20% -Labs/Classwork = 30% -HW = 10% -Grades below a 75% must be signed. -Any graded assignment returned with a parent signature will receive an extra point. -Grades will be entered in Realtime after they are returned

HOMEWORK -- Written on white board -- Posted on website (some worksheets will be online) http://www.hazlet.org -- Please check if absent! -- Missing HW -Will be accepted late for partial credit. -Will not be accepted after Chapter test -Graded assignments result in 10 points off for every day late - 3 or more late homeworks = notice sent home and detention -- Frequency *3-4 times/week. I try not to test on Mondays and rarely assign homework on Fridays -- Science Lab work is done in class. Lab write ups or questions are done at home.
