4. Algebra II Honors October 2 nd Students should complete warm-up problems. Go over any questions the students have on previous night’s homework (handout). Students will complete the square on the standard form of a quadratic equation to derive the quadratic formula. Students will solve quadratic equations using the quadratic formula. Closure – students will watch a video on singing the quadratic formula. Homework - page 245, numbers 11-35 odd page 253, numbers 19-31 odd, 39-44.
