4. 7 th Grade Placement Tentative placement will be made in February : To be placed in Intro. to Algebra, each student must meet the following criteria: Students who do not earn at least a 70% in Pre-Algebra this year will have to attend summer school to meet the requirements or repeat Pre-Algebra in 7 th grade. To be placed in Accelerated Algebra, each student must meet the above criteria with the following additions: Teacher recommendationyes Final course grade: 70% or better Continued placement in P.A. during 6 th grade Final course grade: 90% or better Teacher Recommendation
