Status Airports dataorigination All airports regularly survey (every ~2-5 year) (Arial photography, laserscanning) AMDB for all airports – 36 airports with 3D AMDB / 10 airports 2D Critical «points» (THR, Instr etc.) survey – Landsurveying company – full digital transfer For all data submitted to AIP: metadata and sourcedata recorded in originatordatabase GIS used at airports for operations – data maintenance

Challenges Lack of understanding of why ADQ? Common message from the regulators in each state? Are the rules and guidelines clear enough? Cost Lack of priority – New EASA rules for certification – CDM – Other projects

Airport data / AMDB Consistency between the regulations How do I as an airport report changes ? Can the datamodell I use be used for reporting to AISP? Who has to save the data for historical purposes? Do I have to make my AMDB temporal? CAD world
