4.   Jem and Scout and their friend Dill are obsessed with the Radley house where Boo, the boogey man lives.  Jem and Scout pass by the Radley’s house everyday on the way school and begin to find items stuck inside of a tree.  During a fire on a winter night, Scout is standing outside and finds out that Boo put a blanket around her.  At school, Jem and Scout receive rude comments from classmates because their father, Atticus, is defending a black man.
