2. Introducing RIPE, a company passionate about fresh, organic and local Vegetables. It’s all about getting back to basics by growing local, eating local and supporting local. Ripe is a community led business that supports local farms by working with them to promote local agriculture. We work with both local and regional farms which we handpick for their certified organic farming status. Established to promote healthy eating amongst UAE residents, our goal is to provide easy access of fresh produce to residents of the UAE through a variety of channels. Who are ?

3. Raising with Ripe is a fundraising initiative which encourages healthy eating among kids and supports local organic farms. Every week, we supply schools and nurseries with boxes of delicious and nutritious, organic, local, seasonal and fresh Ripe produce. Order a box of organic fruit and veggies and Ripe will deliver it to your kids’ school each week. As for your school, it gets 10% of the price of each and every box. Each box costs only AED 80 and is bursting with a yummy scrummy seasonal selection of local veg. We hope that schools and parents throughout the UAE will support this initiative to SUPPORT LOCAL AND EAT LOCAL. What is ?

4. How does it work? Lets suggest a minimum of 30 parents sign up weekly 80 aed x 30 bags= 2400 aed weekly 10% towards the school = 240 aed weekly Monthly = 4 x 240 = 960 aed per month What could you use this money for? Create your own organic veggie patch? School trip to a farm? Trees and plants for your school garden?

KIDS WIN because they get loads of top veg in their diet to help them grow big and strong PARENTS WIN because they get a ready supply of fresh produce to feed their kids without hassle or fuss SCHOOLS WIN because for each and every box sold, they get 10% cash back FARMERS WIN because the more boxes sold, the more produce they can grow and sell and therefore supporting the local economy more RIPE WINS because we get to share our amazing produce with the local community

6. You contact Ripe to sign up your school or nursery. You allocate a representative to be the main contact with Ripe. We agree a preferred delivery day and time for each week. On the delivery day, mums, dads, helpers and teachers arrive to collect their boxes and place their order for the following week. The school collects their 10% payment for the week's order. Ripe collect the money and the orders for the following week from the representative. The designated representative is responsible for ensuring the order is with us in time, that the box are given out to the parents and that the following weeks' orders are collected. You will also be the point of contact for any questions or suggestions about the initiative. What does my school need to do?

7. Once signed up, you just need to start spreading the word! We’ll help you do this with a cool launch day featuring plenty of samples so you can taste just how tantalising Ripe produce really is! We’ll also provide plenty of posters for you to distribute. The rest is up to you … just talk to the teachers and chat to the mums & dads about the great value of the boxes and how raising money for the school, supporting UAE farmers and giving the kids the best possible start in life is a pretty great thing!
