O Worship the King Hymn 1
4
1st Stanza O worship the King, all glorious above, And gratefully sing His pow’r and His love;
5
1st Stanza continued Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days, Pavilioned in splendour and girded with praise.
6
2nd Stanza O tell of His might, O sing of His grace, Whose robe is the light, whose canopy space;
7
2nd Stanza continued His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form, And dark is His path on the wings of the storm.
8
3rd Stanza Thy bountiful care what tongue can recite? It breathes in the air, it shines in the light;
9
3rd Stanza continued It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain, And sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.
10
Last Stanza Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail, In Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail;
11
Last Stanza continued Thy mercies how tender! how firm to the end! Our Maker, Defender, Redeemer and Friend.
12
Invocation & Gloria Patri Hymnal (inside front cover)
13
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;

15
Responsive Scripture Reading Philippians 4:4-19
16
4Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
17
5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
18
6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
19
7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
20
8aFinally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
21
8bwhatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
22
9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
23
10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
24
11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
25
12a I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound:
26
12b every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
27
13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
28
14 Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
29
15a Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia,
30
15b no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
31
16 For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
32
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
33
18a But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you,
34
18b an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
35
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
36
