CONTROL OF LIGHT, MOTION AND BACKGROUND 1. Shutter Speed (Dial TV) SHUTTER SPEED Shutter Speed is controlled by the dial called TV It means how quickly the camera takes the photography If the camera takes it really quickly 1/2000 – not much light can get into the sensor, so you need a bright day or good lighting. If the camera takes the picture slowly 1/30 more light can get in but as it takes longer … the picture may have changed!!

DEPTH OF FIELD Aperture Depth of field (Amount of the image in focus) is controlled by the Av dial A high number f16 means that a lot of the image will be in focus and have detail A low number f2.8 means that a lot of the image will have a blurry background
