10 EF is accredited, just like your school. That means teachers and students can earn academic or professional credit by completing coursework before, during and after their tour. You will receive an official transcript for your completed work that you may submit to your school for transfer credit, or attach separately to an application or resume. Please check with your school district or supervisor regarding their policy for accepting transfer credit for students and educators. High School Credit 1) Global Studies + WeShare Successful course completion will earn students 0.5 elective high school credits. Grading, credit, and transcripts are provided through EF. 2) Global Connections: Independent Study Successful course completion will earn students 1.0elective high school credits. Grading, credit, and transcripts are provided through EF. University Credit 1) Eastern Oregon University’s Humanities 110: Global Perspectives Online Course + WeShare Successful course completion will earn students 3 university humanities credits issued by EOU for approximately 3 university humanities credits issued by EOU. 2) Eastern Washington University’s International Field Studies Program Successful completion of the course can earn students between 1-5 university credits issued by EWU based on the course option you choose. EF has negotiated a special rate with Eastern Washington University. For the most current pricing, please contact EWU. In past years, the cost has been approximately $250 per credit. 12 MY APPROACH TO SAFETY The same rules and behavioral expectations that apply to school will apply on my tour. If a traveler violates my rules, I have the right to send them home from tour at the parents’ expense.

13 PASSPORTS AND VISAS All travelers are responsible for securing necessary documentation Valid passports are required for all travelers Passports may take up to 14 weeks to process Some destinations may require travel visas Non-U.S. citizens may require special visas or other travel documents Important note: Passports must be valid for at least six months after our scheduled return date

16 WHAT ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR? Spending money for optional excursions, free time activities, souvenirs, beverages, lunches and snacks ($30-$65 per day) Tips for your Tour Director, bus driver and local guides (around $10 per day) Passport and/or visa fees These are all necessities each traveler will be responsible for on this tour.
