2 What is This Presentation About This presentation is about why people should adopt dogs and what happens to most of the dogs that don’t get adopted.

3 Type of Presentation This presentation is bring awareness that buying a prissy, expensive dog is not the only option Consider Adopting: -persuade people who wouldn’t normally consider adopting dogs from a shelter -Try to educate those who may not have thought of or had an interest in becoming a dog owner see the benefits in not only owing a dog, but the benefits of adopting one This is also informative because it is showing people the life of dogs who are homeless.

4 Why Do I Think More People Should Adopt Dog? I‘ve always had a special attraction and love for dogs. Another reason is the dogs that don’t get adopted end up on the streets and most likely die!

5 Benefits of Adopting The number of homeless dogs are reduced The choice of having to kill dogs to prevent overcrowding in shelters are reduced MOST IMPORTANT: DOGS HAVE A HOME AND ARE LOVED AND BOTH THE DOG AND THE FAMILY ARE HAPPY!!

Most dogs that don’t get adopted end up on streets and have a greater chance of dying by way of starvation or by getting hit, and may not live as long as a dog with a home. 13 Conclusion In conclusion, my dedication and passion for dogs, increase my desire to help reduce the number of homeless dogs. This same passion also allows me to be a voice for those dogs in the shelter and increase awareness of the harshness and need for good, caring potential adoptive families. This could be life or death for these animals and they need a chance! Thank you.
