Population Health and Meaningful Use Meaningful Use Stage 1 2011-2013 Public Health –providers must test one of: (Hospitals) Transmit required disease Electronic Laboratory Reports (ELR) using HL72.5.1 message and LOINC Transmit syndromic public health reports using HL7 2.3.1 or 2.5.1 Transmit immunization records to immunization registries using HL7 2.3.1 or 2.5.1 and Population Health- Create registries of patients with similar conditions
