Getting to know your Eastside HOG Board: 20 Questions with Wayne Kanaby 9) Harley model would you buy next and why? I just bought my 3rd bike in 4 years…an ’09 Red Hot Sunglo, Road King! Her name is Buffalo Gal. I’m not even thinking beyond this one yet. 10) Who's the most famous person you've met? You wouldn't know her...she's not that famous, but real good looking… 11) Who's the one person you would like to meet & why? The last person on Earth, because they wouldn't be the last person if I was meeting them. 12) Who do you admire the most and why? My Mom. After raising my brother and me she has earned Sainthood. Any reasonable person would have killed us. Seriously, she raised 3-kids from 1961 by herself, working midnights at a bank’s data processing center in Detroit...(punch cards) She put us kids 1st and she gave up most of her personal life while we were growing up. I respect her immensely. 13) What do you want to be doing in 5 yrs? Realistically, working and in good health. 14) Besides riding motorcycles, what are your other hobbies? My 1966 Sting Ray Coupe (yellow of course) My Bulldog Lily, and vintage watches 15) What don't most people know about you? I attended the infamous and ill-fated war protest in Washington DC, May Day, 1970. 16) What gets you fired up (angry)? Morons driving like they are dead...can you at least get to 40 in less than 10 minutes? Can you actually go the speed limit? I need to stop right here before I get really fired up... 17) What relaxes you (puts you at ease)? Sleep 18) If you could, what non-living person would you like to have a conversation with and why? Is this a trick question? 6) Of all the rides you've taken, which one stands out the most and why? Sturgis ’09, great people, scenery, and just plain ridin’ fun!! Hollister '08. Great scenery, and a diversity of climates and characters; ie: Dave Bernoudy as sweep. 7) What one ride do you want to take before you lower your kick stand for the last time? Space Mountain...or the new rollercoaster at Cedar Point, Ohio 8) What ride do you look forward to every year and why? Leavenworth Accordion Festival.
