Goals and Objectives: Goal: Implementation of student assessment in microbiology dept. as an effective method Objectives: Standardization of Students Assessment Motivation of Students through their studies Gathering information for Decision making Learning for Understanding

Methods: Summative Assessment: Written Exams: Practical Exams (Mid semester) 20% End of semester, final80% Assessment Tools Checklist, quizzes Creation of (MCQs, SAQs) all on the same test

Continued: For Students: Knowledge, Problem solving, Attitude, Skill, Behavior, Self directed Learning and Motivation Sharing of all topics which should be taught in Practical and Theoretical Lessons with students, to be ready Students assessment for getting top level

Continued: Assessment by supervising students Direct Observation Deep understanding Bilateral communication and Feedback between students and Lecturers Using Taxonomy & Assessment Method

The Areas which should Assess for Students: Assessment of students performance, communication skills, Interpersonal and Practical works skills. Assessment of participation in Practical and Theoretical Lessons Assessment the competition of students for getting top level

Target Group and Time: 2 nd class (100) students in 10 Groups Selection will be randomly 30 Students from 100 students of Curative Medicine and Pediatric Faculties 2 nd Semester August to November 2007 Lecturers will make Quizzes, checklist and will organize it to provide exams Collecting and Analyzing of data for decision making in December 2007
