TELEVISION Like any other human being on the planet, I managed to watch several hours of television over the break including sports, movies, and other televised programs. As for the future of T.V I believe that people will find all new ways of improving high definition images and maybe include 3-D effects to a higher extent.

CELL PHONE I used by cell phone to simply interact with friends and family throughout the break and also used it for other activities like social media and games. The future of cell phones will not slow down any time soon, instead I think companies will continue to try and improve their products in hopes of out-doing one another, and this will only benefit the customers.

XBOX 360 From my times away from just watching programs on the TV, I also played a considerable amount of video games on the Xbox 360. What better way of playing video games than the most successful console of them all. The future of Xbox is rumored to be very soon, as the Xbox 720 is supposedly being released in the near future.

IPAD Another way of entertaining myself over winter break was by the use of the over-sized IPod. This device is superior to other tablets made by competitors when it comes to things like apps for the Ipad. The Ipad has already improved itself over the years with Ipad models such as the 1, 2, and 3, and the Ipad mini. As for the future of it, I don’t see apple creating any more than possibly the Ipad 4 and 5 and then most likely creating a whole new product that no one else has.

MICROWAVE I used my microwave for one use and one use only, and that was to heat up my own food throughout the break. As for the future of microwaves, the only way I see it improving is if companies start to create “smart” microwaves. Which could possible include internet access or things like that. Personally I think smart microwaves would be completely unnecessary but I can almost guarantee that one day they will be sold.

SOCIAL MEDIA Over Winter Break I used social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter to interact with friends and family, as well as staying updated with the latest news around the world. With sites such as Facebook or Twitter, I don’t see these websites dying out anytime soon, instead I believe that there could be a possible partnership between the two sides. What if you could access your Facebook account and “Tweet” off the same site, this would completely change the shape of the online world.

LAPTOP Occasionally, I do result to my laptop to watch movies/shows when the television is occupied. Personally, I don’t even own a desktop computer because I feel that having multiple laptops in the house is more convenient. As for the future of laptops, I think that soon they won’t even be sold anywhere just because of the fact that people only use cellphones and tablets in today’s generation.

CAR/PUBLIC TRANSIT Although most of my Winter Break was spent in the comfort of my own home, from time to time I did have to use a car, or public transit to reach several destinations. From my opinion, public transit is used more and more everyday because gas is so hard to afford in today’s world, as for the future of cars it will continue to improve year by year as manufacturers try to take the automobile world by storm.

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS The best way to get into the holiday mood around Christmas time is to put up a Christmas tree. Along with the Christmas tree, the lights are must. For the future of Christmas lights, there isn’t much you can do with lights except for finding ways of making them less hazardous.

EMAIL I accessed my email a lot over the break for things such as sending photos to family/friends as well as myself, and near the end of my break I used it for homework purposes to send myself a variety of documents. As of right now you can access email over computers, tablets, and cellphones and I don’t quite know how much further you can go with this plan but the only future I see for emailing is if users can access their account from different devices/locations.
