Clark County Agriculture is a leader! Only county in the state with 1,000 dairy farms. The most dairy cows in the state with 62,000. In 2005, we produced more milk that ever before @ 1.1 billion lbs. 3 rd ranked county for cattle and calves with 137,000. Routinely in the top 3 counties for oat and barley production. Routinely in the top 4 counties for all forage and alfalfa tons. In top 6 counties for certified organic farms.
