2. 2 The first Cisco system Networking Academy was established in the U.S. in 1997. Today there are more than 10,000 Academies in 152 countries world wide and 400,000 students who have graduated.

3. 3 Cisco Systems, USAID and UNDP established CNAP alliance in 2001. More than 130 academies have been established in Africa, the Middle East and South Asia.

4. 4 Cisco offers a total of 800 hours of training, to teach students to design, build and maintain computer networks. What you will see today is the CCNA, or entry level, Academy Program.

The fourth HIGHEST proportion of women in any Cisco country.

10. 10 BY THIS TIME NEXT YEAR… 1,000 students will be enrolled each year. 500 students will graduate each year or move on to further education.
