7 Managing an Airport Alternative Fuels Program DFW International Airport Daily Fueling Operations No assigned fueling schedules Peak fuel periods: 9:00 a. m. – 1:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Larger vehicles require fueling twice per day Airport buses and vans require a two phase fueling process 1. Fuel at CNG station 2. Complete maintenance inspections, fluid checks, minor PM at the maintenance facility Fueling Time / per vehicle Buses – 20 minutes Smaller vehicles – 8 – 10 minutes
