I am passionate about working with children and helping them reach their fullest potential. I have acquired a great deal of knowledge about child development within the past few years through majoring in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Houston. My goal as an early childhood professional is to be a part of building stronger family support systems by not only working with children, but also educating families about different ways to help their children grow.
14
Early Years are the most critical time for the development in a child’s life. I like to compare the first few years of life to laying the foundation for a home. I am a firm believer that each child has their own unique gifts and talents, learning styles and preferences and I am committed to investing in the realization of their individual potential. I would love to help children become enthusiastic problem-solvers and life- long learners. Children learn best through exploration of the world around them. As an early childhood professional, I would be dedicated to introducing new topics and ideas and helping the children to experiment and explore those ideas.
