Girl Scout Promise On my honor, I will try: To serve God* and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law. * The word "God" can be interpreted in a number of ways, depending on one's spiritual beliefs. When reciting the Girl Scout Promise, it is okay to replace the word "God" with whatever word your spiritual beliefs dictate. 3

Next Steps Alignment Delegate Meeting January 2009 for information and education Special meeting GSCCNY- Tentatively March 2009: delegates take a binding vote to combine jurisdictions. Vote to: – approve the board structure. –elect members to a Nominating Committee to build the new board. –give the Council Realignment Committee the authority to act as a temporary board, where needed, to move realignment forward CELEBRATION 23
