10. God calls us to build our Christian lives on a person- Jesus Christ.

11. To show grace is to extend favor or kindness to one who doesn’t deserve it, who can never earn it and who can never repay it.

12. Ephesians 2:8-9-“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves,

13. it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast.”

14. Verse 10: “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,

15. which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

18. 2 Corinthians 9:8 Paul told us that there is in the life of EVERY believer “an abundance for every good deed.”

19. The problem comes in how we set about to do these good deeds.

21. Philippians 1:6-“For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you

22. will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

23. Philippians 2:13-“That energy is God's energy, an energy deep within you,

24. God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.”

25. John 1:16 “For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.”

26. God must first work IN us to change us to be like Him. Then He will work THROUGH us to show grace to others.
