Team discussion followed by update and/or assignment of action items(s) Minutes include a summary of discussion. Existing action item(s) updated New Business – Members of the project team bring up any new topics which need to be addressed. Minutes include a summary of discussion. Focus on work to be accomplished next week. Action item(s) added Meeting Adjourned – Record meeting end time.

3 TIPS ON RUNNING THE MEETING Follow outline given in this document: Bring meeting to order and take attendance, note meeting start time and location. Begin discussing old business items. Discuss new business items. Update / Assign action items Review reports to be presented and areas to be covered at the next meeting Note meeting end time Keep on task! If you do not know what you should be working on it is your responsibility to ask.

4 MEETING MINUTES Meeting templates are available in both Google Documents and Microsoft Word.

5 WHAT MEETING IS BEING HELD? The first step is to record what meeting is taking place: Full name of project or division that is holding the meeting. List of meeting attendees with job titles Name attendee taking/preparing meeting minutes. Location of the meeting. Time of the meeting.
