To do this the ‘so what’ from your thesis should appear in the topic sentence.

2 Reflection  Why should we care about imperialism?  What are the practical reasons?  What are the moral reasons?  What are the emotional reasons?  What are the academic reasons?  How does the movie demonstrate the power of one person?  How does the movie demonstrate the power of media and international attention to the world?  What are you most interested in finding out about during this unit? Why? How will you go about finding it out?

10 HW: Assessment  Create a T-Chart  Label one side positive effects and the other negative effects  List the positive and negative effects of the Industrial Revolution  Create a political cartoon that would reflect both the positive and negative sides of becoming an Industrial nation
