Raster – Process look a lot like an inkjet printer – Produces an etched or engraved look Vector Draw – Similar to persons hand drawing with a pen/pencil – Single laser beam that follows the path of the lines that are created Vector Cut – The same idea as Vector Draw, just with an increase in power to cut all the way through our materials

AutoCAD recognizes black/white as the color for rastering Meaning, whatever is drawn in black/white will always be rastered when printed

AutoCAD recognizes blue as the color for vector drawing Meaning, whatever is drawn in blue will always be vector drawn when printed

AutoCAD recognizes red as the color for vector cutting Meaning, whatever is drawn in red will always be vector cut when printed
