2 LIEN AND SEDITION ACTS These acts were passed in response to the criticism John receive as President. He believed it should be illegal for people to criticize the government. Later on these acts were void and the government wrote an amendment making it legal to criticize the government again.

4 OINCIDENCE Coincidently John Adams and Thomas Jefferson died within hours of each other on the 50 th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. They were both signers of the Declaration of independence. They also both said something referring to the fact that the other is still alive an well when actually they both were dying.

5 EPRESSING TERM John Adams followed the unforgettable presidency of George Washington. John knew that it was too hard to fill George’s place so he felt worthless. During his presidency a lot was expected from him and he did well but he sure didn’t feel that he did compared to Washington.

6 DUCATION John Adams was a Harvard graduate like his don John Q. Adams. Then he studied law and became a Lawyer. After that he joined the senate and later joined the House of Representatives.

10 LLNESSES John suffered with Repertory infection and depression. The depression interfered with his term as president. Most of his teeth fell out and he refused to wear dentures therefore he talked with a lisp.

13 ONGEST LIVING PRESIDENT Believe it or not John Adams was the longest living presient. Even his family members live to almost 9 years old. John Adams died at the age of 90.

15 O MILITARY EXPERIENCE John Adams had absolutely no military experience at all. Lucky enough there were no war during his presidency. If there was, he would have had a serious problem.

20 ON WAS PRESIDENT John Adams was the first President to have his son also hold the highest political office. His son John Quincy Adams was the 6 th president of the U.S John Q. Adams was a former Senator and house representative.

23 ICE PRESIDENT TO GEORGE WASHINGTON John Adams was Vice president during George Washington’s Term. He looked up to him and knew if he was ever elected president it would be a tough term. When John became president, he couldn’t carry on George’s legacy but he surely tried his best.

24 HITE HOUSE John Adams was the first president to ever live in the White house. It was referred to as the Executive Mansion back then. Presidents still live in the same White House to this day.
