Volunteer Opportunities Parent Organizations (HABLA, Koffee Klatch, ELAC, PTO, Safety Cmt, GATE) Safety (Walk n Roll, Disaster drill) After School Sports Classroom Support PTO: One time events, Art Vistas, Project Cornerstone, Room Parents, and more (Give 5!)

Supporting School Culture Act Responsibly Be Respectful Care for Others Mission Statement Our Sakamoto community promotes life-long learning through a balanced curriculum, by guiding students to become self-motivated and achieve their highest potential. Sakamoto is a responsible, respectful, and caring school culture.

Supporting School Safety TB Test/Fingerprint Sign-In Wear a Badge Enter & Exit through office Use adult restrooms Honor Confidentiality Report concerns to the teacher Support Positive Behavior Students must always be in the presence of an adult Report facility concerns to the front office (leaky faucet, dog on campus, etc.) Model Expectations Participate in Fire Drills, Disaster Drills, Lock Down Drills Educate & Inform others as needed

Maintaining Confidentiality Student confidentiality is protected by CA Ed Code If you have a question or concern speak first to the teacher then to Mrs. Enna Volunteering is privledge Language builds culture Gossip creates a toxic culture – don’t engage in it
