TYPES OF ADJECTIVES: 1. 1 ST /2 ND DECLENSION: laetus, -a, -um - happy 2. 3 rd DECLENSION: felix, felicis, felice – favorable audax, audacis, audace – bold IDENTIFICATION OF ADJECTIVES: Identified in the dictionary by the nominative, singular forms ex. laetus, -a, -um – happy = 1 st /2 nd declension adj.*** ex. felix, felicis, felice – favorable = 3 rd declension adj. ***NOTA BENE: GENDER of the adjective depends on the GENDER of the noun!!!! 2. THE RULES!!!
