12. Every CBO needs to have a solid plan and invest in it for their communitys future. Involve each citys mayor as a working agent vs. a partner Recruit innovative or out of the box programs such as National Service, Teach for America, and etc. Link Promise Community initiatives with other programs or initiatives statewide. Allow our Promise Communities opportunities to showcase their planning or seeking funding by way of presentations to key constituents. Community Planning needs community input
