2 Unit 1 Me!  Recognize the parts of the body.

3 Unit 2 My five senses  Understand that we use our eyes to see.  Understand that we use our ears to hear.  Understand that we use our tongue to taste.  Understand that we use our nose to smell.  Understand that we use our skin to feel.

4 Unit 3 Caring for my body.  Know how to care for our bodies.  Understand what makes a balanced body.  Know that we have to eat three meals a day.  Understand that we need to drink enough water.  Understand why do we need to excercise.  Understand why we need to have enough rest and sleep.

5 Unit 4 People and Animals  Understand that people and animals need air, food, and water to stay alive.  Understand that people and animals respond to changes, move,grow and change, have young and die.  Know that people and animals are living things.

6 Unit 5 More about animals  Know that are different types of animals.  Know that animals live in different places.  Know that animals move in different ways.  Understand that not all animals can be kept as pets.

7 Unit 6 Plants  Know that there are different types of plants.  Know that plants grow in different places.  Recognise the different plants parts and the function of each part.  Understand that plants need air, food, and water to stay alive.  Understand that plants respond to changes, move, grow and change, have young and die.

8 Unit 7 Things around me  Observe that things come in different shape,size,colors and textures.  Understand that things around us are made of different materials.

9 Unit 8 It’s all around!  Know that air is all around.  Understand that wind is moving air and it can move things.  Recognize the different sources of water.  Recognize the different uses of water.  Know how to observe water safety.

10 Unit 9 Day and night  Recognise what we can see in the sky during the day.  Recognise what we can see in the sky at night.

11 Unit 10 How is the weather today?  Know the different types of weather.  Recognise that the weather changes from day to day.  Understand how the weather affect us, in terms of how we dress and the kinds of activities we can do.

12 Unit 11 Light  Understand that it is bright during the day because the Sun gives out light.  Understand that light helps us to see.  Recogniseother sources of light.

13 Unit 12 Heat  Understand that the Sun gives out heat.  Recognise other sources of heat.  Recognise the uses of heat.

14 Unit 13 Sound  Identify the different sounds in the enviorment.  Understand the difference between loud and soft sounds.  Recognise the uses of sound.  Know the different ways of creating sound.

15 Unit 14 Push and Pull  Understand that an object moves when you push or pull it.  Distinguish between objects that are easy to move and objects that are difficult to move.  Understand why some objects are easy to move while some objects are difficult to move.

16 Unit 15 Turn it on, turn it off!  Understand that some things around us need electricity to work.  Know how to use electricity safely.  Know how to save electricity.
