Rules and expectations I make NO exceptions to the rules!! If you break a rule you will have the consequence. If you follow them you can be rewarded.

Coming into Class Walk DIRECTLY to your seat, SILENTLY Book bags on the back of your chair READ THE BOARD for materials! Pencils – 2 sharpened pencils Bell ringer/warm-up All materials need to be out from the beginning of class. You shouldn’t have to go back into your bag until it’s time to pack up. Homework ready to be checked or turned in.

Morning Procedure (HR only) Go straight to the cafeteria after arriving at school Come straight to class when finished with breakfast Once in class you may: Make sure all your materials are in your book bag Ask for make-up work/notes if you were absent Get up ONCE to sharpen your pencils Read your library books in your seat Take AR tests (with grade level appropriate books ) Go to the Library (get 4 th grade level or higher books)

CLASS JOBS All Jobs will be chosen based on BEHAVIOR and ATTITUDE in the class and around the school! That includes: other classes, hallway, cafeteria, playground, resource etc. Table Leader: Assigned job Other classroom jobs Cafeteria helper I’ll chose weekly/daily Paper passer/TA

Traveling position: third square from wall, hands by side or locked behind back KHFAOOTY BATHROOM Stand in line quietly (still traveling position) Listen to the bathroom monitor or Ms. Price WASH YOUR HANDS! - 2 pulls on the soap, 3 pulls on paper towels Line up quietly when done

Leaving Class – Switching When you leave what should the class look like? What should your chair look like? Your table? The floor? Sharpen pencils before you go to next class.

Passes to leave the room Learning commons passes Bathroom passes Hall pass Nurse, office, etc.

Grading Criteria A copy of this is going home tonight for YOU and your parents to sign. You need to understand your grades because it’s YOU who EARN them; either by doing your work or not doing it.
