4.  Net Income Limit for Elderly and Disabled: Individual- $792, Couple- $1072  Net Income limit for Blind: Individual- $931, Couple- $1,261  Persons with net income that exceeds the limit may qualify for MHABD if they “spend down” their income to below the income limit. MHABD Income Guidelines

5.  A program created for persons aged, blind or disabled who have income that exceeds the MHABD limits.  Persons may qualify for MHABD when they have medical expenses equal to the income that exceeds the MHABD limit or if they pay-in the amount of income that exceeds the limit. This amount is their spend down amount.
