Philosophy behind Go-Wireless Environment for one to create/join a community wireless network/group “Access control” feature for a group owner to accept/reject membership application Wireless node information is owned and controlled by individual node owner Management tool to help node owners to maintain up-to-date wireless node information

Wireless users –Node location Search over the web or phone Search by zip code Search by state and city name (or street name) Search by longitude and latitude radius –Access information Text, graphical map, XML, or voice output Encryption key information Compatible devices –Publish information about the access devices MAC address for node owner to authorize access
