4. What is the purpose of a TAG?
Introduces the reader to the story you are responding to in your paragraph
Gives the reader more information such as the genre of the story and the author
Tell the reader the thesis (your point about the subject) of your response

In Richard Connell’s short story “The Most Dangerous Game,” Rainsford ‘s long history of hunting gives him the upper hand when he is the one being hunted.
