2 APAC Location: The Albury Performing Arts Centre is located in QEII square just metres away from the main street of Albury. It is located in the heard of the CBD in Swift Street and is the city’s premier function and performing arts venue. Events: Some events that are held there are corporate meetings, conferences, seminars, workshops and product launches to exhibitions, gala evenings, grand balls and full scale theatre productions. It can be tailored to suit any event from 20-1000 people, for business functions to large scale productions. Disabled Facilities: delegates and patrons with disabilities are accommodated for whenever possible. The main auditorium is equipped with a hearing loop and audio description services. Catering: Food and beverage cannot be brought onto the premises, or removed. All events are catered for and numbers need to requested a week prior and confirmed 24 hours before the event. Property and damages: The albury Entertainment Centre cannot accept responsibility for damaged or lost goods brought into the centre. Any costs associated with property or equipment damage will be incurred by the client. The entire venue is a smoke-free environment.

3 FRIDAY NIGHT Social program Friday: The Albury Entertainment Centre is presenting “CRUNCH” featuring a cast of talented young performers that performs break dancing and tricking and traditional acrobatics and circus skills for an exciting experience for an all age audience. Basic overview: CRUNCH is a geek who hacks into a computer, builds his avatar and brings his world-view to the audience via the big screen. CRUNCH breaks out of the box, off the stage and onto the screen and poses the question of who's in charge when it comes to technology - us or the myriad of devices that form part of our world? It commences at 8.30pm and finishes at 9.30pm. Ticket price: Adults $42.00 Prior to this, a dinner will take place at the SS&A Club in the Skylight Lounge at 6.00pm. This L-shaped room is suited particularly to private functions with a bar, dance floor, private foyer, fully air conditioned and all audio and visual equipment available. From the SS&A Club there is a short walk (2-5 minutes) to the Performing Arts Centre for CRUNCH. The Martins bus service will pick the delegates up from the APAC and take them to their accommodation.

4 SATURDAY NIGHT Social program Saturday: The Quality Resort Siesta holds a Cocktail night every Saturday night with a pianist in the Bullring Cocktail Lounge, which holds up to 200 people. A three course meal is provided for delegates. The Martins Bus service will transport the patrons to dinner at the Siesta and then back to their accommodation.

5 WEIR LUNCHEON The luncheon will commence at 12.00pm and cocktail type foods will be served. With sushi, spring rolls, curry puffs, cheese and fruit platters, cocktail sandwiches, garlic and herb breads, prawns etc. Dessert items include brownies, biscotti, mini cupcakes, seasonal fruit platters chocolate truffles, lemon tarts etc. Countrywide Hire, has been selected to facilitate the luncheon for the Sunday luncheon at the Hume Weir. The team at Countrywide are able to provide catering equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware, furniture (chairs and tables) and linen, such as tablecloths and napkins. They are able to design a floor plan in which needs to be undertaken in order to allow enough room and is spacious for the delegates. The trusty Martins Bus Service Coaches will transport all guests on scenic drive out to the Hume Weir for the luncheon and transport them back to their accommodation venue.

12 OVERVIEW OF ALBURY Convention Centers For many years Albury-Wodonga has been holding successful meetings. Over the centuries it was the custom for district Aboriginal tribes to meet at "Mungabareena" or Pleasant Place for very long talk. Albury-Wodonga has the facilities and experience to cater totally for meetings of 2 to conferences of 2,500, with professional expertise. Accommodation Accommodation to suit all budgets and needs is plentiful, rates are very competitive and offer extremely good value for money which will allow choices from luxury 4.5 star to budget 2 star. Alternatives include guest houses, farm stays, hotels, caravan and camping grounds. Travel The cities have multiple daily air services from Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne, and have daily rail and coach services making them easily accessible. Drive times are under 3 hours by freeway from Melbourne, 3.5 hours from Canberra and approximately 6 hours from Sydney. Sights Within minutes walk (or drive) of either city Centre, and Wodonga provide a variety of attractions and activities.

This region is famous for its diversity and quality of scenery, attractions and activities available within 1 1/2 hour drive from Albury-Wodonga. Entertainment An extensive variety of theatre, nightclubs, restaurants, cinema, and licensed clubs offer acclaimed facilities and entertainment. Albury-Wodonga is also the home of the internationally renowned 'Flying Fruit Fly Circus'. Leisure The opportunities to participate or just watch your favorite sport are endless, from indoor sports, water sports, parachute jumping, to world class hockey or golf.
