Health Insurance Benefits (Continued) Under Affordable Care Act, postdocs working an average of 30 ours or more are eligible for the State of Florida health and voluntary insurance plans during open enrollment each fall. Leave Benefits 1) Postdoctoral Associates are eligible for Post Doc Leave, which is accrued at 5 hours per pay period up to 352 hours per year to use for vacation, sickness or injury. 2) They are also eligible for the four December Leave Personal Days and all paid holidays. 3)There is no cash out of unused leave. 4) Leave accrual may be reviewed in the biweekly paycheck under the Leave Balances section. 5)Leave benefits do not apply to Postdoctoral Fellows 6)A leave benefits chart may be found at: http://hr.ufl.edu/training/myUFL/instructionguide s/leave%20_cash_out_chart.pdf http://hr.ufl.edu/training/myUFL/instructionguide s/leave%20_cash_out_chart.pdf
