WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) A DoD system which will use the NIPRNET to connect security personnel around the world with a database managed by DoD Agency Central Adjudication Facilities (CAFs).

Joint Clearance And Access Verification System
WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS Joint Clearance And Access Verification System (JCAVS) Provides DoD security personnel the ability to instantly update other JCAVS users with pertinent security clearance and access information in order to ensure the reciprocal acceptance of clearances throughout the DoD. It is a system designed for security managers and SSOs by representatives of that community.

WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS Joint Clearance Access and Verification System (JCAVS) Authoritative basis for SCI indoctrination. Serve as Visit Notification / Permanent Certification. Date NdA signed. Notifies units of Gains & Losses. Compelling need granted. Access suspension indicated. Contractors will be entered. Must be at all facilities.

OPM to assume DOD's personnel security investigation (PSI) mission – FY 04/05 timeframe DSS will focus on Industrial Security Program OPM developing EQUIP – automates the Security Clearance Application process (SF 86) similar to EPSQ for DOD See OPM website: for details and updates Stay tuned!!!
