(JCAVS)
Provides DoD security personnel the ability to instantly update other JCAVS users with pertinent security clearance and access information in order to ensure the reciprocal acceptance of clearances throughout the DoD. It is a system designed for security managers and SSOs by representatives of that community.

OPM to assume DOD's personnel security investigation (PSI) mission – FY 04/05 timeframe
DSS will focus on Industrial Security Program
OPM developing EQUIP – automates the Security Clearance Application process (SF 86) similar to EPSQ for DOD
