2. Project Goals Improve outcomes for students by: − Increasing skill of educators using research/evidence-based effective practices in: Literacy Behavioral & Academic supports Delivery of effective special ed. Services Replication of successful strategies statewide

3. Supporting Objectives Developing “Quality Indicators” of evidence-based effective practices Using the “Quality Indicators” to identify schools with successful improvement efforts Identify and document key components & implementation strategies

Supporting Objectives (continued) Provide TA to schools furthest from SPP baseline 9 (or 6 year targets) Support mentor relationships between effective and targeted schools Promote research-to-practice implementation through Clearinghouse Establish peer-to-peer support networks for teachers and administrators

Supporting Objectives (continued) Collaborate with IHEs to: − Support Regional Field Facilitators in identification of high need districts using evidence based effective practices − Infuse knowledge of effective practices − Coordinate placement of student teachers − Support mentoring of teachers
