The forest is one of Earth’s main biome. The forest is land area mostly covered by trees. Our habitat is a temperate forest. It has four seasons They are located in the eastern half of North America and the middle of Europe. Many plants and animals live in the forest.

An evergreen tree has leaves all year. It has pine cone seeds. A blackberry bush is a perennial. It grows blackberries. Sunflowers are plants with big yellow flowers than can grow 8 to 12 feet High.

One animal we chose is the Bald Eagle. The Bald Eagle is a symbol of freedom in the United States. It is our national bird. Another animal we picked is the black bear. It is omnivorous.

The fox hibernates in winter. The fox hunt at night, eats rodents, fruit and plants.
