1 £500 donation last year to the Nepalese Earthquake disaster fund

2 The money (Nepali rupees 77820) was deposited on the first week of July. The exchange rate on that day was £ 1.00 equivalent to NRs 155.64 (500 x 155.64 = 77820). The Government had already distributed roof zinc sheet to all the school s and they were constructing buildings. Because of the rainy season, some of the schools were closed so the program was delayed. The school building was completely collapsed and they just re-built the building but they didn’t have any educational materials so SDRC had a meeting with school staff at Bramheshwari Primary School and decided to provide teaching/sports materials. They have distributed the following items.

3 1. Desktop computer – 1 (the only computer in the school) 2. Computer table -1 3. EDVO modem and SIM card – 1 set (for internet access, but not able to connect with net, hopefully Harestock students can have a video chat after installing it) 4. Steel cupboard – 1 5. Office table (wooden) -1 6. Plastic chairs – 6 7. Display charts – 13 8. Maps – 3 9. Basket ball – 2 10. Volleyball – 2 11. Pump for ball – 1 12. Skipping ropes – 5 13. Rings (like Frisbee) – 5 14. Ludo – 5 15. Badminton – 5 pairs

4 16. Carom board – 4 17. Table tennis bats – 5 pairs 18. Pencils – 50 dozen 19. Pens – 35 packets 20. Colours/colour pencils 21. Exercise books (large/small) – 90 dozen 22. White boards – 4 23. Board markers – 1 packet 24. Notice board – 1 25. Duster – 6 26. Small Colour balls – 84 pieces 27. Dices for activities – 1 packet 28. Madal (Nepali drum) – 1 29. Tambourine - 1 30. Candy/sweets for children
