Whats the BIG Deal? Parents are very nervous about how their child will do SOCIALLY –Will they cry? –Will they get along with the other children? –What if they dont like school? –What if they dont like the teacher?

Explain What Will Happen Talk to the parents about how the transition will occur Answer any questions Arrange for a tour of the facility Allow the students to accompany the parents on the tour
