Program Goals Goals: 1.) Generate enthusiasm among students and families for science and technology 2.) Give families the chance to explore hands- on science activities together

Overview NC Science Festival will provide curriculum, problem solve and provide evaluation data We ask that make use of as much of the materials you can for a fun science event for your school community We may contact you for a visit if our staff are in your area After your science night, we will email you to complete a brief survey

Making Your Event Unique – Examples of unique events: Have middle or high school students host for elementary students Take the activities back to the classroom Ask a parent with a science career to do a presentation Go crazy with one activity you really like

Activity Advice Each activity has color-coded # that matches kit materials Great info for your facilitator! Some have suggestions for integrating into classroom; others feature NC connections Includes everyday items you need to provide
